Texan By Nature recognized the Texas Prairie Wetlands Project as a 2019 Conservation Wrangler. TPWP’s goal is to put water back on the Texas prairie, within about 100 miles of the Gulf Coast. Within the TPWP, it’s private landowners who decide to restore their own land back to the way it was decades before. We centered our piece around a landowner turned conservationist.
