Last year, UPG Video Marketing launched the “Video for Change” nonprofit video contest.
Entrants were asked to submit a short video explaining how a UPG Fundraising Video would help them change their world. Then, popular vote determined the finalists and an all-star panel picked the winner. Throughout the voting process, however, ALL nonprofits enjoyed increased exposure. The contest pulled in more than 2,000 unique views in a matter of just a couple weeks.
The winner was Out Youth. (OutYouth.org)
Without further adieu, here’s the Fundraising Video we produced for them.
Such great people to work with. Such great energy. I can’t wait until we get to stop by the “Out House” again. If you’d like to help out, please share this video. Tweet it. Post it on Facebook, etc.
So, how did Out Youth win the 2011 Video for Change Nonprofit Contest? Here’s the video THEY made and submitted that garnered the most votes and the favor of the all-star nonprofit judge panel.
Here are some of the other worthy candidates.

Absolutely wonderful UPG!. I am really moved. There is a personal connection for me in this and I can not thank you enough for your contribution to one of our last social minorities.
Great job – very touching and positive video.
Everyone deserves the right to feel and “be” safe. Thank you UPG Video for enlightening the publics awareness regarding these sensitive realities.
